From ages 12 to 17, adolescents enjoy discussions that allow the opportunity to express their viewpoints and be heard. During this turbulent period, when identities take shape, holding discussions is a great way for parents to better understand how their children define themselves.

#TalkItOut is designed to help teenagers express their opinions on a range of topics in such categories as society, relationships, the future, memories, and identity, while listening to and respecting others’ points of view. The game has a fun strategic component and an element of luck, while giving parents the opportunity to interact with their teens and understand their views. In this sense, #TalkItOut creates a framework for discussion that makes questions you might otherwise want to ask directly more natural and less intrusive.
